Siem Reap, Cambodia
In this seven day journey, you will be immersed in an authentic Cambodian experience that gives you an opportunity to make a tangible and lasting change in the remote Kompheim Village by working closely with the NGO, Husk Cambodia. Meaningful service opportunities could include working with families themselves to build sustainable homes and community facilities using plastic and reusable waste or teaching English to local children. Students will be able to relax after their service work by playing sports and games with the children.
Students will also be lucky enough to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Angkor Wat and site of the Tomb Raider movie, Ta Phrohm Temple, to learn about the rich history of the country and to witness the incredible architecture of the temples. You will also get to explore the lush scenery of Siem Reap by Tuk Tuks and bicycling.
You will also get the opportunity to take up new skills like cooking Khmer food and take a circus workshop while sharing skills you have with local children and teens.
This is a perfect blend of service, creativity, and active experience to make it a trip of a lifetime.

“This trip has been very fun, memorable and surprisingly heartwarming as well.”
“This CAS trip was definitely a memorable experience for me, as I got to teach and have fun with children that are less fortunate than we are.”

“I’ve never met anyone as happy or as eager as the children we met in Cambodia. Even though their lives were very simple, they really make the best out of what they have.”
