Luang Prabang, Laos
The ancient town of Luang Prabang, in Laos, has been described as one of the most charming and best-preserved towns in Southeast Asia. Due to its outstanding cultural and natural features, the town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will have the chance to experience the unique culture of the Lao people, visit remote villages, schools, temples and an elephant sanctuary. Hiking, bamboo rafting, cooking and weaving among other things will be on the itinerary for the week.
Our service project will involve contributing to the building of a secondary school in one of the remote villages. In turn you will be actively involved in helping the young children of Lao gain a global perspective of the world through drama, song, games and dance. Your time participating in this programme will provide you with a clear understanding of social, educational and health related issues facing rural people in Laos.

17th Nov: Seuang River Valley – Pak Ou Cave – SAA Paper – Luang Prabang
18th Nov: Giving Alms – Kuang Si Waterfall & Sun Bears Reserve – Luang Prabang – Transfer to Airport – Bangkok
